PAMA has a wide range of Tool magazines that were designed and developed to interface with horizontal or vertical machines.

PAMA chain tool magazines

The PAMA chain tool magazines are comprised of an electro-welded steel structure and a rotating chain to support the tools in a horizontal position.

Depending on the selected configuration, the PAMA tool magazines can be installed on the floor or on the machine.

PAMA rack tool magazines

PAMA rack tool magazines are comprised of an electro-welded steel structure that contains the racks that support the tools in a vertical position. Depending on the selected configuration, the PAMA tool magazines can be installed on the floor or on the machine

The tool change between the PAMA tool magazine and the machine can be performed by an automatic manipulator on the machine or by robot.

To optimise the tool change times, the tool search, preparation and deposit operations are performed in masked time while the machine is running.

PAMA tool magazines, depending on specific customer requirements, can be equipped with various solutions, such as an operator panel, tool coding systems, spindle taper cleaning and tool presetting.

PAMA tower tool magazines are comprised of an electro-welded steel structure that contains the racks that support the tools in a vertical position.

The tool change between the PAMA tower tool magazine and the machine takes place with an automatic manipulator.

PAMA rack tool magazines with robot

PAMA tool magazines are comprised of racks for tool storage and a robot for the tool change.

Depending on the selected configuration, the robot can be installed in a fixed position or on a translating slide.
